Joanne Bokitch is one of Canmore’s most talented hair stylists and colourists working at the award-winning Salon 83 and Mountain Beauties. 

Joanne has a passion for hair and creating beautiful hair design for all lengths while striving to achieve healthy hair, which she believes is the most important ingredient to a great style.

Joanne is not your average hairstylist, her training and experience has led her to specialize in modern colour techniques, such as baliage, ombré, sombre and hair painting and modern technical cutting techniques. Her passion for improving her skills as an artist continually leads her to world-class summits and training, such as the Redken's International Symposium 2015  and Redken's Canadian Summit 2014. She is a specialist with Redken colour, Olaplex, Living Proof and Mirabella - all top products and companies in the beauty business today.

Joanne graduated in 2004 from Delmar for hairstyling and Artists Within in 2005 for makeup artistry and moved to Canmore shortly after where she fell in love with the mountains and lifestyle. She also achieved her Red Seal journeymen accreditation from the province of Alberta and is certified for the skilled trade of hairstyling across Canada. In 2011, Joanne began to help brides on their wedding day and Mountain Beauties was born out of a new found passion for helping a bride on the morning of her wedding achieve the look she has dreamed about.
